Introduction

Withdrawing from Demex to an external wallet is cheap and is almost instant. In many occasions, this can be faster than centralized exchanges that you are familiar with (e.g. Binance).

Typically, withdrawals are quicker to confirm than deposits, and typically take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the network you are withdrawing to.

The following walkthrough demonstrates how to perform a withdrawal, using $SWTH as an example.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Navigate to the Demex website and select 'Balance' from the menu located on the right-hand side.

Step 2: Select "Withdraw" beside the token you wish to withdraw (SWTH in thie example).

Step 3: Select a network for withdrawal.

Tokens are at risk of being lost should the wrong network be selected.

It is important to select the appropriate network while depositing or withdrawing tokens to prevent the possibility of losing them. To avoid any potential risks, make sure to choose the correct network.

Step 4: Enter the receiving address. You can either enter the specific amount you wish to withdraw or use the slider.

Step 5: Hit the "Withdraw" button. Verify and authorize the transaction that appears on the pop-up window of your wallet.

Step 6: To track the status of your transaction after withdrawing your tokens, navigate to the "Crosschain Transfers" tab of your profile.

Congratulations, you have successfully withdrawn your tokens!
