Funding Fees

Funding fees on Demex are paid based on the funding rate between traders that go long, and traders that go short on perpetual contracts. The funding interval on Demex is 10 minutes.

When the funding rate is positive, long positions pay short positions. When the funding rate is negative, short positions pay long positions.

Demex's funding rate consists of premium rate and borrow rate. The fees a trader pays or receives goes into the realized profit and loss.
