Demex has an off-chain notification system which alerts users when important changes to their position or orders happen. The notification system can also alert you when new markets, pools or rewards programs are launched.
Notifications can be viewed in the app via the bell icon at the top right-hand corner.
Additionally, you can add your email address or link your Telegram handle in your profile page to get email or Telegram notifications even when Demex is not open.
You can also download the Demex Progressive Web App on your mobile phone or desktop to get push notifications to your devices.
You can control the types of notifications you receive in the bottom section of your profile page under Notifications Preferences).
Q: Why don't I receive push notifications on my desktop even though I enabled it? A: Make sure you've allowed notifications for Demex, and that 'Use Google services for push messaging' is enabled. These can typically be found in your browser's privacy & security section. On MacOS, ensure you've selected "Allow Notifications" under your browser application (e.g. Google Chrome).
Q: Can I receive notifications if I'm not logged into Demex? A: Push notifications and email notifications can be received even when you're not logged in.
Q: How do I stop receiving marketing messages? A: You can disable marketing messages in your Notification Preferences. See this section for more info.
