# Sharing Your Referral Link

## Generate Referral Links

To share a referral link, you must first generate one.

**Step 1**: Navigate to the [Demex website](https://app.dem.exchange/), connect your wallet and go to the referral dashboard [here](https://app.dem.exchange/account/referrals). 

Alternatively you can select 'Referrals' from the menu on the left-hand side of your balance page.

**Step 2:** To generate your unique referral links, click on 'Generate Referral Links'.

**Step 3:** There are varying levels of commission and kickback rates that you may choose to share with your audience. Click on "Referral Settings" to see the various possible options.

**Step 4:** The pop-up will displays the various options and the corresponding referral links. You can set what will be used by default in Demex (e.g. in your Trade N' Share QR Code), or just copy the referral link you wish to currently share.

## **Pro-tip: Share Your Profits & Referral Link To Profit More**

Use our Trade N' Share feature to share your referral links after a successful trade! Here's how:

1. After closing a position, you can tap on the 'Share' icon in the 'Closed Positions' section of your main trading screen to begin sharing.&#x20;

2. When generating the position sharing image, the QR code in the image contains a link to Demex with your referral link, allowing you to simultaneously boast about your successful trades and earn referral commissions!
