Adding Liquidity

A step-by-step guide to providing liquidity

Step 1: Launch Demex, and navigate to the Pools Page that can be found in the Earn dropdown in the navigation bar.

Step 2: The pools page opens up as shown below.

You will be able to view: Total APR: Estimated Annual Percentage Returns (APR) that the pool earns. APR Breakdown: Where APR rewards come from. Commit Duration: Option to lock up LP tokens for more greater rewards. Volume: Total volume of the market pair being traded on Demex. Liquidity: Total liquidity for the pool.

Say we wish to add liquidity to the SWTH/USD pool. Click on the Add Liquidity button.

Step 3: Input the amount of liquidity you would like to add.

Different pools are designed to have different asset weights. If you are a beginner, it is advised to deposit assets in the automatically calculated proportions instead of "Allowing manual entry".

Step 4: Click on the Add button to confirm your transaction.

Congratulations! You have successfully provided liquidity on Demex.

You can remove liquidity at any point of time, by navigating to the Your Pools section and clicking the Remove button.
