# Borrow Assets
On Nitron, you can borrow assets without actual ownership at a low interest rate. In order to borrow a certain amount of an asset, you must hold a certain amount of collateral to back your borrowings. Hence if you have no collateral holdings, you will not be able to borrow any assets.
These loans do not have any expiry or obligation date, as long as your collateral holding is back it.

**Step 1:** Launch Demex, click “Earn” in the navigation menu and click “Nitron” under the dropdown bar.
The Nitron page opens up as shown below.
**Step 2:** Under the “Borrow” window, you can view all assets that you can borrow at any given time.
For example, you are able to borrow SWTH token at an interest rate of 10.93%.
Step 3: Click the “Borrow” button on the desired asset, which opens up to this window as shown below.
**Step 4:** Enter the desired amount that you wish to borrow. This amount is limited to the available amount that is calculated based on your collateral.
On inputting your borrow amount, your health factor will change as shown down below.
**Step 5:** Click the “Borrow” button to finalise your loan.
Congratulations! You have successfully borrowed an asset. You can view these assets on the “You’re Borrowing” window of the Nitron page.
